Community Outreach

Obesity amongst children in the United States has officially reached epidemic proportions. Governmental agencies are finally allocating budgets to study cause and effect as well as the means to combat this growing problem. Most alarming is that obesity has the highest percentage growth amongst minority children especially Hispanic kids.

Fight Club has initiated a program entitled "Healthy kids vs. Obesity". This after-school program is designed to educate and inform kids and their parents about the dangers of obesity and the long term damage it can do to them. Modeled after a fighter's training program it employs a healthy mix of nutritional counseling, exercise and fun.

Fight Club actively strives to give back to the community, promote health and fitness and leverage its connections with entertainers & athletes in innovative ways. Marketers eager to support community oriented initiatives are always urged to support when they can and how they can.

In order to expedite this process, Fight club has established a variety of turn-key community outreach programs that marketers can piggyback on or merge with their own corporate programs to realistically make a palpable and measurable impact on communities across the US and abroad.

Marketing partners can get involved with the "Healthy Kids vs. Obesity" program in a number of ways:

  • Involvement in a multi-city orientation program where athletes and trainers visit schools across the nation in zones targeted by the FDA as "hot spots'. Lectures and activities are set up for active participation from teachers, students and their parents. Guest appearances by professional fighters involved in the program lends credibility and excitement. Partners are welcomed.
  • The "Train like a winner" website and booklet allows for partner signage to be included in all collateral materials and interactive website dedicated to the program and distributed at every location.
  • Healthy Kids vs. Obesity Press Tour will engage entire communities across the country via national press and public relations platform showcasing the program and our partners.
